One of the most difficult parts of becoming a church planter so far has been telling our friends and family. While we are excited to see how God will use us in this new calling, we are extremely sad to leave our church and our family. We’ve been slowly overcoming this obstacle by telling them a few at a time, when the timing was right. Surprisingly, we have been met with an overwhelming amount of support from everyone we’ve told.

Of course, no one is ready to see us move across the country, but they understand that God’s will overrides their desires to keep us here. We are incredibly thankful for the understanding nature and loving support of our friends and family. It means more to us than they will ever know.

As we begin our process of fundraising over the next several months, we will be intentional about the time we spend with friends and family, knowing that big changes are in store. We will make a point to cherish our time now and hope that we get lots of visitors in the future!

Every friend we’ve made, every acquaintance that we’ve spent time with, and every family member we have known and loved has been an important part of shaping who we are today. Without our friends and family, we likely would be in a different place right now. We are forever grateful for their love, support, and friendship over the years and we realize it doesn’t stop here. We look forward to the relationships and partnerships we will continue to develop in the future.

Did I mention we want you to come visit?
