About Montana

The National Association of Free Will Baptists (NAFWB) has approximately 2,500 churches nationwide, with the majority of members located in the southern states. However, the denomination actively works to plant churches across the country including the west. There are currently less than 100 churches in the Western United States.

Church planting in Montana is vital, as the state remains a largely unreached mission field with unique challenges. Evangelicals represent less than 10% of the population. Church planting efforts focus on developing strong, healthy congregations that can connect with local populations and nurture spiritual growth.

Bozeman, MT is labeled as one of the fastest growing city in the United States. It’s known for its thriving economy, outdoor recreation opportunities, and vibrant community. Its growth highlights the need for community services, including church planting initiatives, as its residents seek connections and spiritual resources in this dynamic region.

Matthew 28:19-20

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
